His expertise is in providing strategic counsel and implementing legislative and regulatory goals, maintaining numerous contacts within government and among ally groups, and working with the media. Callan speaks to business, insurance, and agriculture audiences, and gives speeches on U.S. agriculture policy and the Farm Bill, and presentations on working in Washington, DC. He has been interviewed by national and local media, and was recognized for his work with the agricultural aviators following 9/11 and received the prestigious Falcon Award, and by the U.S. Secretary of Agriculture in 2008 and the Risk Management Agency in 2004 for his work on the Farm Bill and crop insurance. Since starting his business in 2011, he has worked on nearly every major agriculture policy issue. From 2013 to 2019, Callan served as an Adjunct Professor at The George Washington University in Washington, DC, teaching a class on Career Management Strategy to undergraduates, consistently earning high ratings for his classes that included numerous speakers.
